Tabular Alumina from Magnochrom is high-density and fully shrunk corundum. It can replace white fused alumina in some applications and have much better properties.
Tabular Alumina is widely used for shaped and unshaped products, like bricks or specially shaped products, sliding gates, porous plugs for steel ladles and shaped products for the glass industry, etc.
Tabular Alumina is also used for castable likes mortars, for spraying the linings of the steel industry’s electric and basic oxygen furnaces, ladles, and coke ovens, rotary kilns, etc.
Besides, Tabular Alumina and Tabular Alumina Ball could be used for the filtering media in Aluminum metal production.
