Magnochrom produces high purity, dedusted investment casting Alumina. Magnochrom Investment casting Alumina has exacting size controls and is specially used for Ceramic slurries and facing sand operations. It is designed to meet the high temperature applications of Ceramic molds or shells in investment casting or lost-wax casting for a wide range of steel alloys of all types. Magnochrom Casting Alumina has very high hardness (9 Mohs), high melting point (2050 degree), High density (3.9~4.0 g/cm3), excellent thermal and chemical stability, as well as a high degree of thermal shock resistance. It could replace the expensive Zircon sand or powder in Investment casting.
