Fused Mullite is produced by fusing high purity alumina and silica in an electric are furnace. Magnochrom Mullite is needle-like alumina-silica crystal phase, that has low porosity, low conductivity, excellent thermal shock resistance, and excellent resistance to deformation under load.

Fused Mullite is ideal Refractories materials for glass and steel industries: Such as Glass kiln lining brick, Mullite brick for alkali-free glass sedimentation tank, Blast Furnace Low Creep Sillimanite Bricks, etc.

Fused Mullite is also widely used in Ceramic Kiln furniture, such as mullite plates, Corundum mullite disc, which are produced from high quality mullite, and high purity fused corundum with the advantages of high refractoriness under load, compact structure, low porosity, and high resistance to corrosion. They are mainly used for thermal insulation layer of high temperature furnaces.

Besides, Fused Mullite in both aggregate and powder form can be used in Investment casting industry.
