Bubble Alumina

Bubble Alumina

Bubble Alumina is hollow insulating sphere produced by atomizing melted high-purity alumina.

Magnochrom Bubble Alumina has low bulk density and extremely low thermal conductivity.

Bubble alumina is widely used in light weight, high temperature insulating refractories, such as ceramic kilns liners, kiln hot face & back, etc.

Bubble alumina is used effectively for 100se-fill refractories, used in low density, high insulation refractory castable, concrete, and ceramic bodies, and can used as Filtration media in the metallurgical industry to remove impurities.

Besides, Bubble alumina is used well in Grinding wheels to add porosity, resulting in cooler cutting wheels, and used as bed materials in the firing process of vitrified grinding wheels and other ceramic parts.
