White Fused Alumina (WFA)
White Fused Alumina (WFA) is produced from
high purity alumina in electric are furnaces. Magnochrom WFA has high hardness, high bulk density, low porosity and high volume stability and thermal shock resistance.
White Fused Alumina is the main starting materials to produce high-grade unshaped and shaped refractories for Iron and Steel, Cement, Ceramics, Glass, Petrochemical, etc.
As Monolithic Refractories, WFA is used for large-scale ladle casting materials, high-grade iron trench casting materials, spraying materials, prefabricated part, and other unshaped refractory materials. As Shaped Refractories, WFA is used for Corundum bricks. Mullite corundum brick /saggars, high-temperature industrial furnace lining, etc.
